Questions & answers: Vegan hazelnut protein powder | 1kg
No search results.
That's right! Our vegan hazelnut protein powder is made from pea and broad bean protein – with no added soy in the recipe. However, our supplier does not produce in a completely soy-free environment, which is why soy is listed as a potential allergen. If you are particularly sensitive to soya or have an allergy, you should keep this in mind.
Of course! We use fava bean and pea protein for our creamy protein powder, making it ideal for a vegan diet.
Our protein powder is sweetened with sucralose – a sweetener that should not be heated. We therefore advise against using this protein powder for baking or cooking. However, you can stir it into your muesli or ready-made porridge.
Protein powder is usually taken around training time, either before or after a workout. This is because protein helps to maintain and increase muscle mass. However, you can also enjoy a delicious shake at any time without exercising to help you meet your daily (hazelnut and) protein requirements a little more easily.
One serving consists of 30g of powder and thus contains 22.8g of protein. For optimal taste, we recommend mixing the powder with about 400ml of water or plant-based drink in a shaker.
Your daily protein intake depends primarily on your body weight and activity level. The DGE recommends that adults between the ages of 19 and 65 consume approximately 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Those who train more intensively may have higher requirements. One serving of our protein powder (30g) provides 22.8g of protein. So you can easily calculate how much of it fits into your daily routine. Important: Protein powder is only a supplement and not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet!
Of course! You just have to make sure you get the right amount and quality of protein. The amino acid profile and the amount of protein per serving are crucial. Our hazelnut flavoured vegan protein powder combines pea and broad bean protein – a plant-based combination that complements each other perfectly and provides you with protein.
Our vegan protein powder is based on pea and broad bean protein.

Unpleasant

I really didn't like the aftertaste of... fish! It was sickening—I couldn't taste the hazelnuts at all... Too bad these products aren't available in smaller sizes; that way, I wouldn't have to throw so much away! Pretty disappointed.

Way too much pea flavor

Unfortunately, this product doesn't live up to my expectations at all!
You can barely taste the hazelnuts—there's way too much field bean and pea. Sure, those who can read have a clear advantage (it's right there in the ingredient list), but it's still inedible for me.
It's such a shame to have to throw it away…

Hey 😊🥤 Thank you so much for your honest feedback 💛 We’re sorry to hear that you weren’t a fan of the protein powder’s flavor and that the taste of peas and field beans was too strong for your liking 😔 Especially with vegan protein powders, plant-based proteins naturally influence the flavor, but we totally understand that you would have preferred a much stronger hazelnut note 🙏 All the best, Your KoRo Team 🤍

Good protein powder

It's a good, high-quality powder. I'm not a big fan of the flavor, though, because I always find the added flavors a little chemical-tasting. Next time, I'll get the unflavored version.

Top product for athletes

Very tasty—in my opinion, the best option. Dissolves easily and has a long shelf life.

The best vegan protein—and the one everyone hates—to date

The best vegan protein powder to date.
It’s a real treat. I make it into a hot chocolate-style drink with soy milk, hot water, and cocoa for breakfast. Or I add it to my pancake, waffle, crepe, and bowl cake batter.

High-quality protein

These are amazing! They taste great and don't have that artificial flavor, plus the texture is perfect. I'll definitely buy them again. It would be nice to have other flavors besides chocolate and vanilla.

Delicious vegan protein powder

I think anyone who’s used to the aftertaste of vegan protein powder, or has ever tried the vanilla or chocolate flavors, will definitely find a good alternative here. I was almost skeptical based on the reviews, so I was all the more pleasantly surprised that there’s certainly no shortage of hazelnut flavor here.
Since I’m very used to the taste of sweeteners from soft drink alternatives, I’d suggest reducing the sweetness just a little bit. For me, Koro’s powders still offer the best value for money :)

Chemical taste

To me, the taste is a bit chemical (though maybe that’s just the taste of peas). And it’s inconvenient that it doesn’t come with a measuring spoon

Sandy, with a strange aftertaste

Unfortunately, in my opinion, this is the worst protein powder from Koro.
