                                        Vegan spicy lentil fritters that are perfect for your next late summer barbecue.

                                                                                                                            Put lentils in a bowl and cover with plenty of water.

                                                                                                                            Leave to soak for 2-3 hours or overnight.

                                                                                                                            Drain water, rinse lentils and then puree with onion and garlic. 
-

                                                                                                                            Optionally add grated (vegan) cheese, herbs or fried onions to the mixture.

                                                                                                                            Form the mass into balls and fry in a pan with oil until nice and crispy.
