Vegane Mac and Cheese-Waffeln

Mac and cheese is probably familiar to every lover of American cuisine. This is pasta that is then baked with cheese. We have modified this traditional recipe a bit and developed a completely cheese-free, wholesome alternative. In addition, we have added a crowning touch to the whole thing, because we have also interpreted the pasta dish as waffles. Have fun trying it out!

50 g Onion
60 ml Oat drink
100 g Carrots
1 Tsp. paprika powder
1 Tsp. Salt
30 g Yeast flakes
200 g Potatoes
1 Files
4 tbsp. Coconutmilch
200 g Pasta
50 g Cashew kernels
  • Step 1/5

    Boil potatoes and carrots in a pot of water until soft.

  • Step 2/5

    Prepare the pasta al dente.

  • Step 3/5

    Mix all the remaining ingredients, as well as the potatoes and carrots in a blender until a creamy "cheese sauce" is formed.

  • Step 4/5

    Mix the pasta with the sauce.

  • Step 5/5

    Place in a waffle iron and bake for about 2-3 minutes.
