Multi-talented muesli: one ingredient, five recipes

If muesli makes you think of breakfast, then that's your cue to take your muesli game to the next level. We've come up with five recipes for you that don't require fresh fruit, milk or yogurt. We'll show you what else can be conjured up from muesli. Stay tuned!

Multi-talented muesli: one ingredient, five recipes

Crispy breading: vegetables coated in muesli

Try something new:

  • Choose a muesli mix of your choice. If you want something a little wilder, you can use a mixture with dried fruit or spices such as cinnamon or cardamom.
  • Chop your muesli favorite as small as possible in a blender.
  • Briefly pre-cook hard vegetables such as cauliflower or broccoli in salted water.
  • Dip the selected vegetables first in beaten egg or egg substitute, then in the muesli coating.
  • Either deep-fry the vegetables in vegetable oil or brush with oil and bake in the oven at 200 °C for approx. 15 minutes until golden brown.

Our tip: Enjoy the vegetables with a dip - your breadcrumb parade is ready!

Granola: the big sister of muesli

For those who like it crunchy: grab your muesli and give it a makeover - because your muesli is the base for your new granola.

  • Put 600 g muesli mix of your choice in a bowl.
  • Mix with 50 g nut butter (e.g. white almond butter), 70 g coconut oil and 80 g honey or honey alternative - a little patience is required here!
  • Pour the granola onto a baking tray lined with a baking mat and spread evenly. Bake three times at 180 °C for 10-12 minutes each time, turning with a wooden spoon in between, so that the granola is golden brown all over.

Your granola makes a great topping for breakfast bowls or cold desserts. But it's also delicious on its own!

Get into shape: Delicious granola bars

Muesli in all shapes and sizes: make your own favorite bar!

  • Get creative: Grab your KoRo favorites and start mixing: nuts, seeds, dried fruit and, of course, your muesli. You need about 400 g in total.
  • Next, add ripe, pureed bananas. They are not only delicious in banana bread! They are a great binding agent in your muesli bar and give the bars a natural sweetness. Use enough to completely cover your entire muesli.
  • Now spread your mixture onto a baking tray lined with a baking mat and bake in the oven at 180 °C for approx. 25 minutes. If you cut lines into the mixture with a knife before baking, the crunchy baked muesli bars will be easier to cut.

Perfect match: bread loves muesli

And we love dough in any form, but our hearts beat fastest for bread. Since love thrives on variety, why not try something new and add muesli to your favorite bread mix? There are no limits to your imagination here: If you like it fruity, use a muesli with cranberries or sour cherries, if you like it crunchy, we recommend nuts and seeds. No matter what you choose, we promise you one thing: absolute enjoyment guaranteed!

Small and delicious: energy balls made from muesli

These little energy boosters are your perfect snack between meals: Energy Balls. You can mix them up super quickly and snack on something sweet without having to fire up the oven! Try it out:

  • Briefly blend 10 dates in a blender on the lowest setting.
  • Add 20 g coconut chips, 80 g muesli of your choice and 1 tbsp nut butter (e.g. white almond butter or peanut butter).
  • Mix all the ingredients together until you have a malleable mass from which you can shape the energy balls. Your power snack is ready!
