Crunchy pistachio butter with 1 % salt | 500g

What is small, green and salty? That's right, KoRo's roasted and salted pistachios! Admittedly, this question was not really difficult to answer for true pistachio fans. Visually, the shelled pistachio is quite something, and the taste is even better than the look! We really love pistachios here at KoRo. We also love snacking on them while watching a TV show or movie. But let's face it: the process of shelling pistachios can be a real pain. Imagine being able to enjoy the salty, crunchy taste of pistachios without having to remove the little green treats from their shells. This is where our crunchy pistachio butter with 1% salt comes into play! It's a real all-rounder: it goes well on bread, with porridge, in dips or sauces thanks to its intense and salty pistachio flavour. Order our new pistachio butter with crunchy pistachio pieces in the 500g jar now!

The pretender – why the pistachio is not really a nut

Although the pistachio is often considered a nut, botanically speaking it is not a nut at all! In fact, the pistachio is the stone fruit of the pistachio tree, which belongs to the sumac family. Its unique taste, bright green colour and crunchy texture make it a popular snack and versatile ingredient in the kitchen. In addition to its intense flavour, our pistachio butter also scores highly as a source of protein and fibre, as 100g of our salty pistachio puree contains 24g of protein and 5.4g of fibre. If you prefer the flavour of pistachio without a salty note, you can also find our pistachio butter with no salt. And if you love salty nut butters, discover our incredibly creamy salted peanut butter.

A creamy allrounder: Snack, topping or spread

Does your day begin with a solid breakfast and a creamy nut butter topping on your porridge or muesli? Then our crunchy pistachio butter with 1% salt brings more variety for your mornings! It's not for nothing that porridge is cooked with a pinch of salt in Denmark - there's something about it! So why not try salty pistachio butter on your porridge? The puree is also incredible as a spread. Whether on fresh bread or even as an ingredient in savoury sandwiches and wraps, the pistachio butter with chunks not only adds a salty, nutty note but also a crunchy texture. A spoonful of our pistachio butter adds a creamy texture to salads and dressings for extra crunch. You can also use the salty pistachio spread as a base for dips and sauces. For example, mix it with yoghurt and spices to make a dip for vegetables or tortilla chips. Our verdict: it tastes delicious!
