The sweet and ripe jackfruit has long been used in its countries of origin as a fruity dessert or eaten in roasted form as chips. To be able to use it as a meat substitute, the fruit must be harvested when unripe. The neutral taste of the fruit flesh can be wonderfully spiced up with the help of spices or marinades.

2 tbsp. Olive oil
200 g Jackfruit
100 g Grated cheese or vegan cheese substitute
