Question 1

Are flapjacks healthy?

Accepted Answer

As a matter of principle, we avoid categorising foods as healthy or unhealthy. After all, good health is primarily about a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. However, our organic banana bread flapjack is a varied snack with a high fibre content (7.5 g/100 g).

Question 2

How should I store the organic flapjacks and how long do they keep?

Accepted Answer

It is best to store the oat bar in a cool, dry place away from direct light. In its original packaging, it will keep for around 10 months from the production date.

Question 3

Is the banana bread flapjack vegan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all the ingredients in our flapjack are purely plant-based and therefore ideal for a vegan diet.

Question 4

Is this flapjack organic?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course! All the ingredients in our banana bread flapjcak come from organic agriculture.

Question 5

Is the banana bread flapjack gluten-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our flapjack is completely gluten-free – the oats that form the base of the bar are gluten-free. However, for people with coeliac disease: even though the bar is considered gluten-free, we recommend that you speak to your doctor beforehand if you have a severe sensitivity.

Question 6

Can I make my own cereal bars?

Accepted Answer

Once you’ve worked your way through our range of bars and now want to get creative yourself, take a look at our recipes. There we’ve collected all our favourite recipes for oat bars and more. You can either bake the mixture in the traditional way, like a biscuit, or opt for the ‘raw’ version. Here, the ingredients remain raw and are simply blended in a mixer. Are you looking for a banana bread recipe instead? We have recipes for that too!

Question 7

What makes the organic banana bread flapjack so special?

Accepted Answer

It’s simple: it has everything you love about banana bread – just in a handy bar format. Moist, soft and packed with banana chips, pecans and dark chocolate. But that’s not all: the flapjack is also vegan, gluten-free, high in fibre and organic!
