Can I make the olive spread myself?

Accepted Answer

Sure, you can also make an olive paste yourself. Our spread contains sunflower seeds as a base. You put them together with green olives, olive oil, some water and spices of your choice in a high-powered blender and puree them until you get a creamy mass. We added tomato paste, agave syrup, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, parsley and a pinch of salt to our spread. Easier and without making a mess in the kitchen it goes all the time with our ready-made olive cream - which is also already perfectly matched in taste!

What can I use the green olive paste for?

Accepted Answer

The olive paste is ideal as a delicious spread for bread or focaccia and can serve just as well as an alternative to pesto for pasta. In addition, you can refine a lot of savory dishes with the cream: Just give a spoonful of the cream in your (vegan) Bolognese for a spicy olive upgrade!

Does the cream contain gluten?

Only ingredients that do not naturally contain gluten go into our olive cream. However, during production there may be unknowing cross-contamination with gluten-containing grains, which is why we do not label the product as gluten-free.

How do I store the olive paste and how long is its shelf life?

In the original sealed jar, the cream can be stored at room temperature for at least 24 months. After opening, you should then put the jar in the refrigerator and use it up within 7 days.

Healthy is first and foremost a balanced, varied diet that covers all the daily nutrients recommended by the DGE. We therefore do not like to divide individual products into categories. Our olive cream is of organic quality and is sure to bring some spicy variety into your kitchen.

A classic tapenade from the south of France consists of olives, anchovies and capers. You will look for the latter in vain in our cream. Our olive spread is completely vegan and based on delicious sunflower seeds.
