The biggest difference is that Spirulina does not have a distinct nucleus and has only very thin cell walls. The freshwater algae Chlorella, on the other hand, has its own cell nucleus and has more robust cell walls. But let's get back to supplements: In this country, both microalgae are largely used in powder or tablet form.
