To lose weight, you basically need a calorie deficit. So you don't necessarily have to give up nuts, seeds and dried fruit during the diet. In general, we recommend a balanced diet.

The "trail mix" got its name several centuries ago. At that time, it consisted only of raisins and almonds. However, since almonds were very expensive, only the wealthy could afford the delicious snack. And since studying was also reserved for the wealthy back then, the nut-fruit mixture was given the name "trail mix" that is still familiar today. In the meantime, however, we fortunately don't have to be a student:in, nor rich, to enjoy the delicious nut mixture.
