In many macaron recipes, almond flour actually means ground almonds. In this case, to use almond flour is rather unsuitable, because it is deoiled and therefore drier than ground almonds. It is therefore advisable to a) adjust the amount of liquid ingredients, b) use our ground almonds or c) to use our blanched almonds. You can then put them in a blender, pass them through a sieve et voilá - you have ground almonds, ready for the macaron dough.
