How is the ginger snack made?

To produce dried ginger, the rhizomes are not harvested 2-3 months after planting, as is the case with fresh ginger, but 9-10 months after planting. Then they are mature and have an increased pungency. To reduce this again somewhat, the fresh ginger is boiled down in fructose and then gently air-dried. Finally, finish with a little dark chocolate - and the ultimate snack is ready!
