Easy: The whole thing happens through a process called extrusion. This is the technical term in the food industry and describes the process of deforming and restructuring protein-rich raw materials, in our case into small balls. After the resulting mass is produced, it is heated, compressed in screw presses and forms a round shape once the pressure sinks. This ball is dried and thus maintains its form.

Super tasty breakfast, lots of protein, few calories - best discovery of the year.
The soy crispies are super crispy and super quick if you eat them like cereal. However, I don't find them sweet enough, which is why I eat them with "Tasty powder" (chocolate or cinnamon flavor): 75 g Crispies, a spoonful of Tasty and 150 ml milk. That gives me around 50 g of protein for less than 400 kcal. TOP!!!

They actually have more of a "crunchy" bite and are not quite as airy as puffed amaranth or quinoa, which is of course a matter of taste.
