Can my baby consume this almond butter?

In general, and especially before the age of one, you should only add almond butter to your baby's diet after consulting your paediatrician. Even though almonds are not strictly speaking nuts, they are still considered allergens. And not all children can tolerate their relatively high calorie content. You should therefore not use more than 10g as a supplement to your baby's diet – and only after consulting your doctor.

How long does this almond butter keep?

You can always see how long a product will keep by checking the best-before date. This is printed on the packaging. After production, our cinnamon and vanilla almond butter can be stored in its original sealed jar for at least 9 months if stored correctly (in a cool, dry place). Some oil may settle on top of the almond butter – this is completely normal, just stir it well until it returns to a creamy consistency.

Before opening, it is best to store it in a cool, dry place. Once you have started enjoying the butter, you should keep it in the refrigerator.

We stay away from calling products healthy or unhealthy. The most important thing is to make sure you have a balanced diet. Balance is the key! Our almond butter with cinnamon and vanilla has 621kcal and 19g of protein per 100g. This makes it a good source of protein.

Unlike many conventional almond or nut butters, our cinnamon and vanilla almond butter does not contain any added palm oil. Our almond butter doesn't need it and is spreadable without the addition of colourings or preservatives.
