Something has changed, it tastes bad

Changed taste
After the last nut butter was empty, I ordered another one, but noticed that the taste had changed significantly in the negative direction. I also noticed that the nutritional values had changed, which confirmed my suspicion of a new batch.
The taste is no longer comparable to the 'previous' product - unfortunately it reminds me of toilet cleaner, strangely lemony, not pistachio. I bought another small, older jar from a retailer - fortunately still from the old batch. Unfortunately, the 'new' puree has also arrived there in the meantime... I understand that a natural product can fluctuate to a certain extent, but I expect a quality test that also guarantees continuity of taste. I will refrain from placing another order for the time being, especially at the price requested here.
