How are freeze-dried pomegranate seeds made?

For freeze-drying, we use a chemical process: sublimation. In this process, the kernels are first deep-frozen at low temperatures. A vacuum is then created so that the frozen water immediately turns into water vapor and almost all the moisture is removed from the kernels.
