From cacao tree to you: how cacao nibs are made
Ever wondered what cacao nibs actually are? In short, they’re simply small pieces of raw cacao beans. These beans grow inside the cacao fruit, surrounded by sweet, juicy pulp. During fermentation – a natural process that takes place under the tropical sun in regions across West Africa, Central and South America, and Asia – the pulp breaks down and liquefies. What remains are the beans, which are then dried, cracked, and transformed into crunchy cacao nibs. Alongside their intense flavour, they’re also naturally high in fibre (27g per 100g).

Aber sicher! Unsere Kakaobohnen stammen aus biologischer Landwirtschaft und werden zudem fair gehandelt.
Gesund ist in erster Linie eine ausgewogene Ernährungsweise. Kakaonibs können wunderbar in Deine Ernährung als ballaststoffreicher Snack integriert werden, beispielsweise als leckeres Topping auf Deiner Frühstücksbowl.
Kakaobohnen werden auf Plantagen in den Tropen in Westafrika, Mittel- und Südamerika sowie Asien angebaut.
Unsere Kakaonibs haben Bio- sowie Fairtrade-Qualität und zeichnen sich durch eine herbe, dunkle Schokoladennote aus.
Kurz gesagt: Kakaonibs sind in kleine Stücke zerbrochene Kakaobohnen. Für die Herstellung werden die Kakaobohnen zunächst vom Fruchtfleisch, das sie im Inneren der Kakaofrucht umgibt, gelöst. Danach werden die Bohnen getrocknet, geschält und in kleine Stückchen gebrochen. Die Kakaonibs schmecken angenehm herb und vollmundig.

It has become outrageously expensive, that's not possible...
Now the price is €29.00! That is more than outrageous.
The support team only gives standard copy-paste answers to comments about the new price.
I sincerely hope that this store does not succumb to pure greed for profit like many others.
