What is the fiber content of flaxseed meal?

Our linseed flour has an average of 36 g of dietary fiber per 100 g. This makes the flour a real fiber bomb. Dietary fiber is an important component of a balanced diet. But be careful: You should not overdo it with fiber, especially if your stomach is not used to a lot of fiber. Not quite: You have to keep in mind that flax seeds bind a lot of water! So that means for you: Take either a significantly larger amount of liquid or simply reduce the amount of flour.

Does the flaxseed meal serve as an egg substitute?

Yes - and how good! You can simply mix 1 tablespoon of flax meal with 3 tablespoons of hot water and let it stand for a short time: tadadada - you have created a flaxseed egg.

Especially savory dishes can be super pimped with the flaxseed flour! Whether quiche, pizza or bread - the flax seeds give every dish an individual touch. For sweet dishes, we would rather advise you to use a nut flour; alternatively, you can of course sweeten the flaxseed flour extra, e.g. with one of our sugar alternatives.
