You ay be curious how dried fruit becomes so crunchy. Unlike conventional dried fruit, our fruit is heated in a vacuum. The innovative puffing technology using vacuum drying means that the fruits water content evaporates in a very short time (about 1-3 minutes) at a low temperature. During the process, the pineapple chunks loosen up, creating the so-called "puffing effect". This gives the pineapple chunks their incomparable crunchy texture, with the intense sweet and refreshingly sour flavour.
